At LíráH , the aim is to produce “ingredients of Success”. Aiming to deliver the purest, most flexible and most chef-friendly products, LíráH offer a range of vinegars, Verjus and Italian wine varietals. LiraH Vinegar started in 2003, and in 2005 Ian Henderson indulged his passion of vinegar making full-time. The LiraH origins were humble, just 4 barrels of vinegar were made using the starter culture, from his family's home vinegar barrel. Within a year production had moved to a more permanent location where full scale production began in 2006. Ian studied Vinegar Making in Europe in 2006 with work experience in Italy, Spain and Austria. This showed Ian just what was possible in Australian Vinegar production, and with the right investment in time and commitment - award winning Australian vinegar has been made!
