Chris and Jill run Mount Eliza Cheese – one of just three boutique cheese producers in New Zealand making cheese from unpasteurised milk. Commencing in 2007, their inspiration comes from the use of traditional recipes and methods that date back centuries - making them bona fide artisan cheese makers, where the produce and the process take precedence. Crucially, they create single farm of origin cheese, with milk produced on a local Bay of Plenty farm.
