Matt and Kirsty returned to New Zealand in 2012 and after 20 years’ in the restaurant, baking and patisserie business the pair decided that this was where their passions lay. Having spent substantial time touring through Europe, Australia and New Zealand they embraced their passion for the European culture and exceptional food which is why when looking at opening a business that utilised their unique skillsets the Pembroke Patisserie was the ideal option.
