The Carey Family founded Green Meadows Beef in 2012 and have kept the dream alive ever since. With the foundation built on giving consumers peace of mind and exceptional quality meat – the family set out to answer the three tough questions that every consumer needs to know; Where does our meat come from, who grows/farms these products and, most importantly, are the animals cared for? The Green Meadows Beef farm is in Taranaki and is made up of over 420 acres of lush pasture to ensure that the animals enjoy a free range, happy life while roaming the pastures. During the next step of the process the beef is sliced/diced/minced and sent to The Butchery by chiller truck ensuring the best quality meat, as fresh as possible and filled with flavour without any unnatural additives.
